Thats what makes good replay value, and what makes me want to come back and play the game over and over. What really irks me about this game, and many other Capcom games is the fact that they love taking advantage of DLC, even though most of the DLC they offer are things that should be unlocked in the game after you beat it so many times or unlock this trophy, etcetera. This makes the game lose replay value fast in arcade mode.
There are only 10 levels to fight in, only 2 of those are somewhat memorable. Its more like the lame story mode on MVC3, where the y could have made it epic but instead chose the easier route. The first thing that rubs me the wrong way however is the lame mediocre story, nothing like previous Tekken games. The tag team system feels somewhat like Mortal Kombat, and I like the fact that when one character KOs the round is over.
The controls are pretty fluid, and the gem system is a nice added touch to spicen the game up. The character line up and graphics are pretty good, especially on PS3 because you get 4 exclusive characters.
Kind of reminds me of drinking a lukewarm beer, it gets the job done, but it would have been so much better if it was cold. I love Street Fighter and I love Tekken but this game is just alright. I will start of by saying I was super hyped for this game to come out.
